Methods of Cash WithdrawalThere are two major methods to withdraw money from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP):

1. Biometric Verification System (BVS)This is the most recent method.

You can withdraw your money at designated franchise retail outlets or Point of Sale (POS) terminals using your CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) and a fingerprint scan.

2. HBL ATMs

If BVS is not available in your area, you can withdraw your stipend from any HBL ATM (Habib Bank Limited ATM) using a BISP ATM card.

Benazir Income Support Programme

Benazir Kafalat ProgrammeThis is the primary program within BISP that provides cash assistance to eligible families. The recent update mentions that an amount of 28,000 rupees has been deposited in the accounts of beneficiaries. Those eligible can withdraw this amount through the mentioned methods.

8171 Payment Check Online

To check the status of your payments, you can use the 8171 portal. This portal allows you to verify whether your funds have been deposited and also check the details of your installments.

BISP Update

A new installment of 10,500 rupees is expected, with some payments being available from campsites until August 14, after which payments will be available from vendors. ATMs are anticipated to be restored soon, enabling withdrawals without deductions.

Eligibility for 28,000 Rupees: The amount includes the current installment and any previous unpaid installments or scholarships for children. Check your status on the 8171 portal before withdrawing funds.

ATMs and Campsites: ATMs are expected to be fully operational soon, allowing beneficiaries to withdraw their installments without deductions. Until then, campsites will be used for distribution.
