BISP New Payment: Today Latest Update
Overview
The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has announced significant updates regarding the new payment of 10,500 PKR. Starting now, only two categories of recipients will continue to receive aid from the government, while many others have been removed from the program, even if they have been long-term beneficiaries.
Eligible Recipients
The aid will continue for:
- Those with a Poverty Score (PMT) less than 32.
- Government employees with a maximum salary of less than 20,000 PKR.
Program Adjustments
Recipients who joined the program based on business criteria or have seen their PMT score increase will be removed from the program. Those who have not completed their Dynamic Survey by June 30, 2024, will also be excluded, regardless of their PMT score.

PMT Score Details
The PMT score limit has been set at 37 for eligible recipients, including laborers with a labor identity card and those whose maximum salary is below 20,000 PKR. If your PMT score is less than 32 and you have been receiving payments for the last three to four years, it is essential to complete your survey again before June 30, 2024.
Kafalat and Talimi Wazaif Programs
Regular beneficiaries with pending amounts under the Kafalat Program or Children’s Wazaif Training Program from January to March will start receiving payments in their accounts. These pending payments will be released along with the next installment.
Banking System Update
There is also news about the restoration of ATMs. The new banking system installation is expected soon, although it may not be in place for the current installment. Future installments will definitely see the updated system, ensuring smoother and more efficient payment processing.
